Apocalesque a Smashing Success!

Apocalesque_curtain_callI’m pleased to share that APOCALESQUE Cabaret & Variety show was wildly successful, thanks to cast, crew, and an incredible community who welcomed in the new era with us the evening of December 21st, 2012!

We sold out the morning of the show and ended up selling standing room at the door! Some folks even got turned away – and while it is unfortunate that anyone had to miss the show, it’s also incredibly exciting that we received such a positive response. The show was so successful that we will most certainly be doing another one, in honor of the Spring Equinox on March 22nd, 2013. Stay tuned for updates!

On behalf of everyone who made this show possible (this means you!), thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Love,

Sirona von Sirius

Apocalesque! A cabaret & variety show at the end of the world.
Friday, December 21, 2012
8:00 pm

Go out with a bang! Apocalesque is a cabaret and variety show based on transformation and the end of the world. According to the ancient Mayan calendar, December 21st, 2012 is reputed by some to mark the end of the world–or the beginning of a new era. Performances will include cabaret acts, live music, hoop dance, aerial dance, belly dance, burlesque performance, comedy, and more. Hosted by Madame Onça, the producer of the Americana Burlesque & Sideshow Festival. A limited number of cabaret seats are available. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Hidden Voices, a Triangle-based non-profit that empowers underrepresented populations to effectively tell their stories.
